Chocolate Snacken' Cake

Here is a recipe for a chocolate cake that I found in my new Rachael Ray magazine, which I love.

1 T. butter
3 Large eggs
2 C. sugar
1 C. Mayonnaise
1 t. pure vanilla
1/3 C. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 t. cinnamon, plus more for dusting
1/2 C. hot brewed coffee
2 C. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 t. baking soda
2/3 C. chocolate chips
Confectioners' sugar, for dusting

1. Preheat the oven to 350. Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking pan, then line it with wax paper or parchment paper and butter the paper.
2. Whisk together the eggs, sugar, mayonnaise and vanilla in a large bowl. Place the cocoa and the cinnamon in a small heatproof bowl; whisk in the coffee. Add the coffee mixture to the egg mixture in 3 parts, whisking to blend after each addition. Add the flour and baking soda and whisk until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips.
3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake the cake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Let the cake cool for 10 minues, then invert onto a rack and let cool for about 1 hour. Dust the cake with cinnamon, then confectioners' sugar, and cut into triangles

Sharon Stone Adopts, Again

Well it looks like Sharon now has 3 baby boys in her little perfect world. Word is she has adopted another boy, Quinn Stone. We shall see, huh? I used to like her and thought she was rather cool, but I am now starting to think she is a lesbo....who thinks she is the SHIT!!! GAG!!!

Nicole and Keith - Beautiful!!!

Well it finally happened on Sunday. Nicole and Keith got hitched. They look incredible. I love the fact that he will get $600,000 for each year that they are married....if they should divorce. What the F***, I understand that she makes tons of money and has tons of money, but it is like every celebrity plans for a divorce. We thought the 80's were bad for divorces, guess we were wrong. I really want to know the divorce rate for the celebs. Any guesses???

Chris Daughtry -- Oh my!!!

I was reading over at my girl, Tabloid Whore's blog, this morning and was so upset!!! Say it will not be so. TW came across some pics of Chris Daughtry and his wife at drunkenstepfather.com. They are maybe having a little fight? And who doesn't?? Oh, I love him so much and really want him to stay a normal family man. I know that he married her and adopted those kids...and yes she just had a hysterectomy. Everyone has fights and argues, so I am going to just believe in my little head that it was nothing, and hope that they stay together.

Fettuccine Alfredo -- Yum, Yum!!

Here is a recipe for homemade Alfredo sauce. Very quick and easy.....and oh so rich

Fettuccine Alfredo

1 Stick butter
2 T. Garlic (I use more!!)
1 Pkg Fettuccine noodles
1 Carton whipping cream
1 or 2 cartons of fresh parmesan

Melt butter, add garlic, stir in whipping cream. Whick until reduced a bit. Toss in cooked noodles. Add 3 large handfuls of fresh parmesan. Serve with cooked chicken strips, if desired.

Jessica Simpson sees a Shrink...

So...on May 19th, Jessica was seen leaving a Doctors office. Many thought it was just a little nip/tuck...but it was really to get her head shrunk!! Damn, she needs to see a shrink. Maybe he can tell her what a fool she is for ditching Nick and listening to her "daddy" all the time. It's Official -- Anna Nicole Smith Confirms...she is preggers!!

Well, it seems the rumors are true!! Anna Nicole Smith has confirmed to People Magazine that she is indeed pregnant!! Surprise, surprise!! She was floating on an inflatable raft and looked directly at the camera and said "Well, let me stop all the rumors. Yes, I am pregnant. I am happy, very, very happy about it. Things are goin' really, really good and I will be checking in and out periodically on the web, and I'll let you see me as I'm growing"

Ro-Tel Chicken

This is a recipe that we got from a friend...it is sooooooo yummy!!

6 Chicken Breasts, cooked and diced
1 (12 oz) pkg vermicelli (or any pasta)
1 (10 oz) can Ro-Tel Tomatoes and Chilies
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 Lb Velveeta Cheese, cubed
1 Lg. bell pepper, chopped (opt.)
1 Lg. onion, chopped (opt.)
1 can mushrooms (opt.)
1 1/2 sticks butter - if using peppers and onion.

Boil and season chicken breast. Save broth. Cook Vermicelli in broth, then drain - Do not rinse. Save broth to add later. Saute chopped onions, peppers, and mushrooms in butter (optional). Add Ro-tel -- I put my Ro-tel in our food processer and pulse for a minute. Add Worcestershire sauce, sauted onions, peppers, and mushrooms. Add vermicelli and cheese until melted. You can add some of the broth if it is too thick for you. Finally add the diced chicken. Bake at 350 degrees until dish bubbles.

Thanks to my girl Tabloid Whore (TW) she had a great thought....Poor Shiloh Pitt will be forever know has Piloh Shit! HAHAHAHA....I have not stopped laughing all morning!! Thanks TW!! I still think Jen will come out the winnner in this whole Brad...Jen saga!! I am so sure that Skankalina will end up dumping Brad, cuz that is what she does, or he will find her in bed with her lesbian "friend". Only time will tell about the Shiloh Pitt, I mean Piloh Shitt.

Oh, my...poor Ben spent his Memorial Day in the E.R. He was treated for a Migraine....OUCH!!!! I don't know if any of the rest of you have ever had a migraine, but I have. Oh, and are they hell!!! I have actually been to the E.R. twice, and both times wished that I would just die, they are so painful.....hope you are feeling better, Ben!!

Vince & Jen -- Still Together

Well, it seems the love birds are still together. They were at a ballgame in Chicago this Memorial Day. That makes me happy. I don't necessarily know if they will get married or date forever, but I do like them both and they seem happy. So....my wish is that they will stay happier then Brad and "Shankalina".

Mildred's Toffee- YUM, YUM!!

I love anything sweet, so I thought I would share this with ya'll!!

Mildred's Toffee
*makes about 1 1/2 lbs.



1 1/2 C. chopped toasted pecans, divided
1 C. sugar
1 C. butter
1 T. light corn syrup
1/4 C. water
1 C. semisweet chocolate morsels (I use more!!)

Spread 1 cup chopped peacans intoa 9-inch circle on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bring sugar and next 3 ingredients to a boil in a heavy saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook (do not stir) until mixture is golden brown and a candy thermometer registers 290 -310 degrees (about 15 minutes.) Pour sugar mixture over pecans on baking sheet. Sprinkle with morsels; let stand 30 seconds. Spread melted morsels evenly over top; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Chill 1 hour. Break into bite-size pieces. Store in an airtight container.

It's a Girl for Brangelina!!!!

Well, it finally happened. Angelina had a baby girl on May 27th in Namibia. The baby's name is Shiloh-Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. Well all I have to say is FINALLY!!! I am so sick and tired of her skanky ass. And I am not a Pitt fan either. Can't believe that they are even claiming that it is their baby. Ya know, since they never said that they were "together". Well, congrats to the lovely couple.

Old Fashioned Layered Salad

This is a great seven layered salad for the holiday or anytime

1 C. Mayo
1 C. Miracle Whip
1 T. Milk
1 t. Dry mustard
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1 Head Romaine lettuce, chopped
2 C. Shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (10oz.) pkg frozen peas, thawed
1 medium red onion, diced
green onions, chopped
6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1 1/2 C. chopped bacon
1 large celery, chopped (opt.)

Stir together first 6 ingredients. Layer half each of lettuce, next 5 ingredients, and if desired, celery in a bowl. Spread half of dressing mixture over the top; repeat layers, cover and chill 8 hours.

Chad and Hilary Divorcing....for real!!

I was so sad to read that Chad Lowe and Hilary Swank are JOINTLY going to divorce. They met back in 1992 and Hilary called it "love at first sight". What happens with all these hollywood couples....they never show the statistics, but I would love to know the divorce rate for celebs? For us regular folks it is 50%, what do you guess, maybe 85% divorce in hollywood. It is so sad.

Gwen & Gavin have a baby boy!!!

US Weekly is reporting that Gwen and Gavin arrived at Cedars-Sinai this morning where Gwen is scheduled for a C-section at noon!!! OHHHH I am so excited. They will have the most beautiful baby, I mean besides our kids of course. Celebrity Baby Blog is revealing that Gwen gave birth to a baby boy.

Britney puts the dog in the basement

Well, well, well....seems as if Britney and K. Fed are having a little bit of marital problems. I can't believe it....he is such a nice guy. Britney's publicist is NOT denying that they split, apparently he is living in the couple's mansion.....but in the basement. HAHAHA She needs to just throw him out, he is such a goooooooobbbbbbbber!!! I wonder if she kept the lights on when they were having sex or if she had to turn them off. Blah!!
